Moving again next year

It has been a while since my last post. Like I mentioned in my last post, we've moved to Groningen, NL two months ago. Almost all paperwork is done and my wife got her visa. So we pretty much got used to our new live in Holland already, except for our new house.

Our first plan was to rent a house, but they were all dirty and there was a lot to fix. That's not what we wanted, so we decided to buy a house instead. We visited three houses in total, the first one looked very nice. Some older people are living there, they maintained the house very well. The second house also looked nice, except they were painting outside, it looked like they wanted to hide bad things. Also the first floor was a wooden floor, which is kinda scary and is difficult to check for its condition. The third house we visited felt really cosy. Except the concrete they used to build the house was of bad quality and the wooden window frames were rotten.

So obviously we chose to buy the first house. Two weeks ago we succeeded to buy that house for a very good price. We'll move in Q1 next year, very cool and much better than our small apartment in Japan!
