Announcing MonitManager
Finally I decided to release an alpha version of my latest project called MonitManager. I always tend to wait till a project is fully featured and finished, but this way a project gets boring and abandoned quickly. So I will go for the famous "releasy early, release often" approach. Last Monday I setup a simple trac-based project webpage and wrote a installation script based on Python's setuptools. This version is considered stable but it is certainly not complete. So please try it out, all feedback is appreciated.
So what is MonitManager all about?
MonitManager is server application that provides a centralized interface to monitor and control UNIX-like operating systems. MonitManager gets its information from so called "agents" running on the machines to be monitored and controlled.
So basically if you have a lot of Monit daemons running on a lot of different machines (or even slices on Slicehost). Then MonitManager is the best way to monitor and control them.

P.S. MonitManager is powered by Django :-).
