mod_wsgi v2.0 released

Version 2.0 of mod_wsgi is now available with great new features including restarting an application by “touching” the wsgi-script, so no need to restart Apache or to send a signal to the daemon process anymore. Another great new feature is support for Python virtual environments. Using these environments it is possible to use different versions of packages or modules at the same time.

Gelens.org is powered by: Django 1.0, running on Python 2.5.2 and served by Apache 2.2.9 with mod_wsgi 2.3, proxied by Nginx 0.6.32. The database is PostgreSQL 8.3.4. All of this is running on the latest Arch Linux on a 360MB Linode Xen VPS.
