Edit in MacVim
Last year I wrote about the new MacVim. I’m still using this version, it’s great.
All my config files are available in my mercurial repository in case you are interested.
Anyway, this post is about the ODBInputManager for MacVim. After installation it will show up in the “Edit”-menu of every application:

Wow, great it isn’t it? But what does it do? Well, when editing text in a textbox in any application on OSX, this option launches a Vim instance where the text can be edited instead. When you’re done, just quit Vim and the changes are send back to the textbox from where Vim was launched. It comes in very handy when you need to edit wiki-pages or other large documents on the internet.

I’t s a bit old (and there’s another older one called viAllOver) but there are ways to getting it working on Leopard in the forums.
Go to Vi Input Manager for the good stuff.
