Patapon
Patapon is a very nice game from the makers of Locoroco. For that reason alone I bought the game yesterday ;-). It’s more difficult than Locoroco in terms of possibilities and the fact that the game is in Japanese, doesn’t help much either. Nonetheless with the help of Mami I know how the game works now. The drawing style is similar to the style of Locoroco. It seems to be done by some French artist Rolito.
The main task in the game is to master six drumbeats to command your troops. This sounds easy to do, but obviously it isn’t. I know 3 different beats now (attack, defend and march) and already have difficulties. When a mistake is made, your troops will stop doing what they are doing until you pick up the beat again. In addition to that, your army can be customized by giving them new armor, new weapons and by positioning them in preparation for the battle.
A great and very addictive game. It’s for Japan only at the moment, but it will be available in the rest of the world soon. I recommend to buy it if you have a PSP.

I’m singing: “pata pata pata pon”, just for fun. That’s all I can say about this game, however I think it’s a nice game for people who like to play fighting-games!
:D :D :D “pata pata pata pon”
