Twitter spam
Hi, Jeffrey Gelens.
Weather Forecast (Forecast) added you as a friend
It shows up in my followers list as:
Weather Forecast / Forecast Bio: Send ‘d forecast (zipcode)’ for your weather forecast. i.e. ‘d forecast 14202’
Yay! My first Twitter SPAM friend. Twitter is subscriber based, so that would render it harmless to spam-attacks. But what if a spammer can subscribe and add everyone as a friend? Which is pretty easy to do. Everyone’s followers list could be flooded with spam. I suggest Twitter to make it possible to moderate people’s followers, because this could become a bigger problem in the near future.
Also it seems that some evil people are pretending to be celebrities by using their name on twitter. They build-up enormous lists of followers. Interesting…

About the celebrities, yes, I subscribed to David Hasselhof for about 10 minutes, than I got fed up with him picking out new clothes and deciding on what kind of plastic surgery to have done ;)

It’s just that these spammers always find something to do their business.
