HDRI stands for High Dynamic Range Imaging. This is a technique to show a wide range of intensity levels in one photo. This way it is very accurate to see bright sunlight to the deepest shadows. A better description can be found here.
Today I wanted to try to create such a photo, so I did – with success. It is a quick shot from the balcony at night – it was really dark outside. You can see the apartments across the road perfectly. At the same time you can see the curtains really well. This is not possible with normal imaging techniques.
