Temp company
Well, the day before yesterday I went to the temp company in the Umeda Center Building. Easy to find, because it is one of the largest buildings in Umeda. I talked for 30 minutes with the woman I had an appointment with. She explained that I can’t register at that temp company because I’m a exchange student and not a regular student at Osaka University. Since only small companies (1–50 people maybe) register at this temp company, there are only jobs where you need at least JLPT level 1 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). At am not even level 4 yet. So no change ;). I asked about the best way to find a job in Japan and about how to get a visa with it. Basically the only way is to get a visa sponsorship by a large (international) company. She also gave me some papers with websites which lists of large companies. Useful. She also told me some interesting facts about the Japanese job system.
Time to do some real job hunting. :)
