Job hunting
Today I made an appointment with a temporary staffing company (temp company) to ask about jobs in Osaka. The nice thing is that they have English speaking staff. With my college student visa I can work a certain amount of hours a week, so maybe I’ll find a part-time job or something. I think it is better to do this as early as possible and today I just decided to call them. Work experience in Japan would be great for after this school-year. More news tomorrow…
This week I also received the word from the teacher of the couse I still have to finish in Holland. He said I can make the final exam here in Osaka under supervision of one of the professors of Osaka University. This is of course not a normal procedure, but they made an exception for me. I’m very glad because of that. Now let’s hope I still understand all the mathematics used in this course. So probably I can get my Bachelor of Science degree immediately after OUSSEP. :D
This week was full of reports. I wrote about 6 different reports in a few days and now I’m just tired of it. There is still one due though for next Wednesday. Next Monday I have to make the final written exam for Japanese. So again a weekend full of studying. Ah well… almost holidays…
