Catching up version 2
Hello, I am back again. Somehow I didn’t feel to write any message the past few weeks, a lot has happened. I guess I’ll just start at were I stopped posting.
Kyoto
December the 3rd Mami and I went one day to Kyoto to visit some temples and shrines to watch the autumn leaves.

As usual I have taken a lot of photos. In the morning we went to Toufukuji Temple where the autumn leaves were really pretty. Later we went to Arashiyama. Where we visited several temples and shrines and walked through a bamboo forest. That night I took nightshots of the autumn leaves at Hougonin. Pretty difficult without tripod, but using a tripod was forbidden anyway.

Later that evening we visited Kiyomizu Temple (the 2nd time for me) where we met Shino-chan (she’s Mami’s friend and now also my friend).
This day was so nice and fun, I even felt asleep on the way back. Take a look at the pictures.
Field-trip to Panasonic, Sanyo and Osaka Castle
I joined the field-trip of the Technical Japanese class of OUSSEP. I did not join the class itself, because the level of Japanese is a little bit too high for me at the moment. The first visit was to the Sanyo museum, the second Panasonic museum. Both museums were basically about the history of the company, how it was established, product line, etc. Pretty interesting.

Later that afternoon we visited Osaka Castle. From the outside it looked like an really old building, but when you come in, you will be surprised :o it’s completely rebuild.
Kobe Luminarie
Once a year a few streets in Kobe are lighted by millions of colorful lights. There is basically a large gateway to a square with even more lights. It was beautiful, difficult to describe. So take look at the photos.
The weekend after I was sick :-& for a few days, I think I ate something wrong the other day, but I’m not sure. Since Mami ate the same and was not ill. Lucky the worst part of the illness lasted for just one day.
Universal Studios Japan
And then of course USJ on December the 23rd. USJ is a theme park with a lot of shops and thrilling rides based on different movies. Because of the holiday season USJ was very busy. Waiting times were longer than an hour, but it was worth it. Spiderman, Jurassic Park and ET are probably the best rides, so Mami and I decided to go only for these. Spiderman was my favourite and it looked, felt and smelled so real :o

The largest Christmas tree in Japan is located in USJ, of course we had to see it ;)
At night there was some Christmas event with a lot of fireworks and light. However it was so crowded that we decided to go to Umeda to visit the candle night osaka. I put all the photos of that day in one photo set.
};<del>The night of December 23rd;
For the people who still don’t know. Since this evening I’m not single anymore. \o/ I fell in love with a beautiful woman :x I decided to stay in Japan for this particular reason. My study in Holland is almost finished anyway (just one course to go). So next year I’m trying to find a job in order to stay in Japan. After I improved my Japanese language skills to a conversational level I can maybe join a university in Osaka to find an even better job later.
Anyway, Mami and I first have to collect more information about visa’s before making any further plans. As long we are happy everything is ok. :)
Christmas day, Kobe Mosiac
A day we will never forget. It includes a boat trip, talking and something with giving rings high in the sky in an orange tower. Can’t be described with words ;)

From now I’ll start writing a part of my message or whole message in Japanese in addition to the English text. Just for practice. I probably still make a lot of mistakes. Any corrections or improvements are welcome, I learn from mistakes! ありがとうございます!
