Suita-shi ni sunde imasu!

Here I am in Suita-shi, Osaka. I’m using an internet connection from an unknown person at the moment. It’s very slow however, I’m too far away from the antenna. I don’t think I can upload some photo’s now so I’ll do that later.

My first impressions are awesome, so let’s hope it stays like this. My room is nice, but it needs some cleaning, especially the refrigerator. I’ll go to the local shop in a few minutes to buy some cleaning stuff.

English is even more useless in Japan than I thought. Even the concierge of this dormitory, the Foreign Student House, can’t speak English, but I already talked with her using simple words, it’s no problem. Her first sentence: “Waaaaaa, you’re so long desu ne~~~!” (I even forgot the Japanese word she said for long/height, it’s really time to improve my Japanese much faster now).

My neighbour comes from Poland by the way and I met a person from Germany at Paris who is also going to study at 阪大, he’s not following the OUSSEP program though. I met most of the other people at Kansai Int. airport.

More details soon… this wireless connection really sucks, but hey it’s free for now.

Just send me an email if you want my room number.
